About the Farm
Café Suárez is a heritage-rich, family-owned coffee farm located in Alto Quiel, on the slopes of Barú Volcano in Boquete, Chiriquí, Panama—a region renowned for its volcanic soils and ideal microclimate. The Suárez family has cultivated coffee here for over five generations, dating back to Domingo Suadi’s arrival in 1900. The farm sits at approximately 1,500 feet (≈ 450 m) above sea level—considered well-suited for specialty Arabica cultivation. Their 70-hectare estate operates in an organically-minded, GMO-free environment, embracing sustainable practices and supporting long-term land stewardship
